Blogger
Commitment: 1-2 articles per month

Aspiring Emergency Managers Online (AEMO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and educating individuals pursuing careers in emergency management. Through a dynamic network, AEMO provides resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help aspiring professionals thrive in the field.Role Overview:
AEMO is seeking passionate and skilled writers to join our volunteer blogging team. As a Blogger, you’ll craft engaging content aligned with AEMO's mission, including topics such as career tips, industry trends, personal stories, and professional development resources for emergency management. Your work will contribute to educating and empowering our community of over 4,500 members.Responsibilities:
- Write and submit 1-2 well-researched, original blog posts per month (400–800 words).
- Collaborate with AEMO’s team to align content with organizational goals and audience interests.
- Incorporate feedback and edits into blog posts as needed.
- Stay informed about emergency management trends to create relevant and insightful content.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of or interest in emergency management, disaster preparedness, or related fields.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Experience with blogging, content creation, or storytelling is a plus but not required.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized volunteer to serve as our Job Posting Coordinator. In this role, you will manage and oversee job postings on AEMO’s website and social media platforms, ensuring our community has access to the latest and most relevant career opportunities in emergency management and related fields.Key Responsibilities:
- Curate and post new job opportunities on AEMO’s designated platforms.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking job submissions and postings.
- Collaborate with employers and partners to verify job details and deadlines.
- Respond to inquiries related to job postings.
- Ensure that job postings align with AEMO’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with job posting platforms or willingness to learn.
- Passion for helping aspiring emergency management professionals succeed.
- Access to a computer and reliable internet.
